It is distinguished in the Southeast Pamir in the SE Murghab district Gurumdin and Mynkhadzhir type sections of the Jurassic

It is represented by olive-green and earthy-gray marls, calcareous clay slates, and claystones with layers of limestone

Lower contact
It lies conformably with the deposits of the Bajocian and Callovian stages.

It is widespread in the Southeast Pamir.
